Below is a semi-panoramic view from the parking lot. I actually had to turn as I took these pictures, so the near bank appears curved, but it is actually a fairly wide, LONG straight-edged lake.

There is actually a shorter path from the parking lot that comes out close the the shallow end at the left
Note the open shelter almost completed at the shallow end at left!
This is the shallow end.  There is still a little "dead stubble" of grass remaining from when the pond was filled.  It is SHALLOW. I walked out about 10' from shore and the water was only up just past my shins. This end is designed not to be deeper than 4' max.

Below is a picture of the almost-completed shelter being built at the shallow end of the pond. They looked like they were finnishing up and sweeping it out as I took the pictures.

 
The bathhouse (at right) resides in the woods between the parking lot and the shallow end of the pond. It is not yet completed, but looked like all facilities were installed, but needed the plumping connected.
